出差或出访，常常需要事先预订酒店、会议室或者飞机票等等，这类信主要包括以下内容：

    （1）请求预订并说明原因；

    （2）请对方答复并进行确认。

    通常预订后都要进行确认回复，说明是否满足预订要求，如果不能满足要说明原因。

    例如：

    （1）Subject: Reservations for a Flight （主题：预订飞机座位）

Dear Sir/madam,

    Mr. Zhang Xiaohua, our Marketing Manager, would like to fly from Guangzhou to London on the earliest flight possible. （本公司营销部经理张晓华先生，希望搭乘尽可能早点的从广州飞往伦敦的班机。）

    We would be obliged if you could book one economy class seat for him on a flight leaving Guangzhou on or about July 28. （如果你能为他预订1个经济舱的座位，在7月28日当天或者前后几天，飞离广州的话，将不胜感激。）

    Bank of China has been instructed to pay the fare and the booking fee, and we would ask you to submit your account directly to them. （我们已委托中国银行支付机票费和预约费，请你把账单直接交给他们。）

    We appreciate your early confirmation.（请早日确认，我们不胜感激。）

 

    （2）Subject: Confirmation of reservation （主题：预订确认）

Dear Miss Lin,

    We have acknowledged your E-mail dated July 15 requesting us to book one economy-class seat for Mr. Zhang Xiaohua on a flight from Guangzhou to London.（我们已收到你7月15日的电子邮件，要求我们为张晓华先生预订从广州到伦敦班机经济舱座位。）

    One seat has been reserved on flight S.A 917 departing Baiyun Airport, Guangzhou at 10:00 am. on the 28th, arriving London at 11:00 am. local time on July 30.（已预订南航917次班机的一个座位，该班机于28日早上10点从广州白云机场起飞，于30日当地时间早上11点抵达伦敦。）

    The account will be sent to Bank of China, as requested.（如你所要求的，账单将送到中国银行。）

 

    【预订常用句型】：

    （1）I would like to reserve a twin/ double room at your hotel for four nights from June8, 2002.

    我想向你们旅馆预订一间双人房，2002年6月8日入住，总共四天。

    （2）Please reserve a single room under the name of Mr. Lin.

    请以林先生的名义定一间单人房。

    （3）What's the price difference？

    两种房间的价格有什么不同？

   （4）A double room with a front view is 140 dollars per night，one with a rear view is 115 dollars per night．

    一间双人房朝阳面的每晚140美元，背阴面的每晚115美元。

    （5）If there are no room available for the above period, please inform me ASAP as I must look for another hotel.

    如果在上述期间没有空房，请尽快告知以便另寻旅馆。

    （6）I would like to book a flight to Paris on January 8 on Air France, First Class and round trip.

    我要订一张去巴黎的往返票，1月8日，法航，头等舱。

     （7）We do have a single room available for those dates．

    我们确实有一个单间，在这段时间可以用。

    （8）What is the rate， please？

    请问房费多少？

    （9）The current rate is＄ 50 per night．

    Guest: Hello, I’d like to check in please. 你好，我想入住贵酒店。

    Hotel staff: Certainly. Can I have the name please? 当然可以，能把姓名给我吗？

    Guest: Mr Harold Smith.  Harold Smith先生。

    Hotel staff: Ok, Are you checking out tomorrow?好的，您是明天退房吗？

    Guest: Yes, I am. That’s right. 是的没错，是明天退房。

    Hotel staff: Will you need a wake up call, sir? 先生您需要唤醒服务吗？

    Guest: Yes please. At 6.30am. 是的，请在早上6.30唤醒我。

    Hotel staff: Ok then, your room is 502 on the fifth floor. Breakfast is served between 6.30am and 9am. Enjoy your stay.好的。您的房间号码是五层的502房间。早餐是早晨6.30到9点。祝您入住愉快。

    Guest: Thank you.谢谢你。

    【对话2】：

    Guest: Good evening, I have a reservation under the name of Tomlinson.晚上好，我有预定，名字是Tomlinson. Hotel
    staff: Ok I’ve found it. Checking out on the 27th? 好，我找到了。是27日退房吗?

    Guest: That’s right. 没错。

    Hotel staff: Can I take a credit card for the deposit? 我能用您的信用卡划账押金吗？

    Guest: Yes, sure. Also, I’d like a non-smoking room please. 当然可以。另外，请给我一间无烟房间。

    Hotel staff: Certainly madam. Here’s your key. Your room is on the 7th floor and on the left. Room 781. Check out is at 12 noon. 当然可以，女士。这是您的房间钥匙。您的房间在7层左侧，房间号码781。退房需要在中午12点之前。
